Hi families!  March is Reading Month! To celebrate, we will have a read in on Friday! Students can bring their favorite snack, a clear drink, and any of their favorite books from home. There are also dress up days this week.  Monday: PAWsitively Wild About Reading! (Bear Wear) Tuesday: "Read My Shirt" Day (Wear a shirt with words on it)  Wednesday: Reading Brightens My Day (Wear your favorite color) Thursday: Reading Keeps You Warm (Wear Hats and Gloves) Friday: Cozy up with a Book! (Pajama day, bring a flashlight!) Students can bring their computers home this week to present their student-led conference! Just send me an email or write a note in their planner if they need to bring their computer home. Once they present you their slides, write a small note letting me know that they presented them. Hi families!  Thank you so much to everyone who helped out with the Kindness Party. We all had so much fun :)  Conferences will start this week! As a reminder, conferences are student-led, so if you have a conference scheduled with me, remember to bring your student with you. If you are not meeting with me, let me know when you would like your student to present theirs to you at home, and if they need to bring their chromebook home to do it. Once it is finished, please send me an email or write me a note in their planner letting me know they have presented it to you.  We are running low on snacks for the classroom. If you are able to donate any, that would be extremely helpful. This helps students who forget to bring in a snack, since we have a long morning until lunch.   Hi families!  Our Kindness Party will be on Tuesday at 2:00. It looks like the only thing left on the sign up sheet is a game or craft. If you have any ideas for a game or a craft, please let me know and I can set it up! If you signed up to bring a treat, please remember to make sure they are peanut and tree nut free. Same for any candy valentines you send it. Students are allowed to bring valentines, but they must bring enough for all of our students. Here is a list of class names.   Hi families! Our Kindness party will be on February 14th at 2:00.  Here  is a link for the sign up if you would like to volunteer.  I will be sending a sign up sheet for treats/games within the next couple of days. Students are allowed (but not required) to bring valentines, but they must bring enough for all 27 kids.  Here  is a list of class names. Please be mindful of what candy you send in (if you do send candy), and make sure there are no peanuts or tree nuts. If your child wants to bring a decorated box or bag, they are more than welcome to, but we will not have a contest.
