  Hi families!  This Week: Monday: Library Tuesday: Art Wednesday: Late Start, No special Thursday: PE Friday: Music Important Dates:  School Resumes: 3/27 Late Starts: 3/29, 4/5, 4/19, 4/26 For those of you who are interested in having your child work on math at home, we will be covering unit 6, lessons 16-20. Practice using the IXL textbook would be beneficial to understanding this new concept of multiplying and dividing larger numbers.    We will be starting our science unit with energy, energy transfer, and electricity this week. We will also continue collecting research on our historical event. Students had the choice between The Underground Railroad, The Dust Bowl, Ellis Island (immigration), The Great Migration, and The Orphan Trains. Ask your student what event they picked!   Hi families!  Report cards went home on Thursday. If you haven't already, please send the envelope back to school, signed on the 2nd trimester line.  Please remember that the expectation is that students have until the end of the year to be proficient with a score of a 3 in every subject area. We will still be working on standards during bear time and in small groups! Since report cards went home, please schedule a time to conference with your child at home if you haven't already done so. Let me know if your child needs the Chromebook for the conference and also let me know when the conference is complete. Our planetarium visit at Upton will be tomorrow instead of Tuesday. We will leave right after Library.   Hi families!  Just a reminder that the health forms are due on Monday. If you would like the view the curriculum, it is available in the office. Please send the form back no matter your response. Thanks! This week, we will be working on double and triple digit multiplication. Students may want extra practice at home. This week we will be covering unit 6, lessons 7-11. They can go onto IXL textbook and work through those lessons for extra practice.  Report cards will be coming home later this week.
