Hi families!  Our Halloween Party is tomorrow from 2:00-3:00. Anyone is welcome to join us! Please remember that all food that is brought must be peanut butter and tree nut free, as we do have food allergies. Please include an ingredient list if possible! If you signed up to volunteer for the party, and are able to come help set up a little bit before 2:00, that would be greatly appreciated!   Kids may come dressed in their costumes to school. Anything that interferes with learning or is a distraction should be kept in backpacks until the party and the parade. This would include masks, gloves, or blow up costumes. The school-wide parade on the playground will start at 3:15.   Students finished the math test for unit 2 last week on comparing & ordering fractions. They will be working during our Bear time to make corrections/improvements to their overall scores. The test will be sent home at the end of the week. This will be the only grade for math on r...

Hi families!  Our fall party will be on Monday, October 31st. The party will be from 2:00-3:00, and the parade is at 3:15. Here is a sign up  if you would like to bring any food or games. If you want to bring something that is not on the list, just send me an email.  Due to the fact that Chromebooks aren't going home this year, we have created a form for you to fill out if your child needs the device at home for Lexia or IXL use. Please complete this form if you would like your child to bring home his/her device for school use.  This is a reminder that students need headphones/earbuds. Please send them in with your child if you haven't already. I have a few extra if needed, but they do need them regularly.  Important Dates:  Late Starts: 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30 Fall Party: 10/31 Half Days: 11/10, 11/11, 11/18 Thanksgiving Break: 11/23-11/25 This Week:  Monday: Library  Tuesday: Art Wednesday: Late Start, No Special  Thursday:...

Hi families!  Thank you for your participation in our student led conferences! Our 4th graders did an awesome job creating their goals and presenting them to you. I am very proud of them all :) Laps for Lincoln was also a giant success! Thank you for all of your support and participation.  Student Council:  Students who are interested in Student Council will need to have completed the link on Google Classrooms. Week of Oct. 17-21: Students may create two posters at home. One to put in our classroom and one in the hallway, if they would like. Students will prepare a short speech at home (no more than 2 minutes) about why they want to be a part of the student council. They will have until Friday, October 21st to prepare their posters to present to your classroom. We will be taking two representatives from each of your classrooms, one boy and one girl. Your class will vote on Friday, October 21st through a Google Form that will be sent to our classroom, based on the k...

Hi Families!  Conferences are this week! Students have been working so hard on their slides and are excited to present them. Students will have a print out of the self reflection form they filled out, and they will go over this with you after the conference. Due to the short time we have together and the length of the slides, I will have you finish the conference slides in the hallway if we run out of time. I will have a desk set up in the hall with some chairs for you to finish. I will save five minutes for any questions you have or anything I need to mention. Thank you for understanding! Click here to view your date and time. You can still sign up for conferences if you haven't already! If the dates/times available don't work for you, we can schedule a different time, just let me know!  Laps for Lincoln is Friday, October 14th from 5-7! I hope to see you there :) Our PTO generously donated shirts and have been busy counting all of the donations! We are so thankful for all o...

Hi Families! Happy October! One month down. We have had such an amazing first month and it has been great to get to know all of your students.  Here are some reminders:  Please make sure your student is bringing in a water bottle and snack every day.  Students should be reading their good fit book every night and getting their bookmarks signed. This is one way for them to get five yards and eventually get a touchdown!  You can also sign your student's planner for an additional five yards! This lets me know they are discussing what they are doing in school with you.  Conferences are coming up! Please sign up for conferences if you haven't already. The link will be below.  I am still waiting for a few submissions for the Getting to Know You Google form. If you haven't already, please fill this out. The link will be below. This helps me learn more about your child and what goals you have for them in fourth grade.  Thank you to everyone who sent in ...
