Hi families!  Thank you for all of your support and donations for Stuff-a-Truck!   Hi families!  The Winn Dixie reward was such a fun time! Thank you to everyone who donated any drinks or food. The kids loved the punch and pickles! It was a great way to celebrate all of our student and class success and hardwork!  This week begins the student council Stuff-A-Truck food donation collection! Students are encouraged to donate any non-perishable food items to school (canned food, boxed pasta, etc). If you are able to donate anything or pick anything extra up on your grocery trip, please send it in with your student throughout the week. For some friendly competition, there will be a pizza party for the lower and upper elementary classes with the most donations. Thank you for your support!  Since Friday is a half day and the end of the 1st trimester, we will have a read-in to celebrate all our hard work throughout the trimester! Kids can bring blankets & pillows and are encouraged to bring as many books as possible. They will create a comfy reading...

In the book, Opal throws a party for her friends that include some unique items. We would like to do the same :) Here is a l ink to a sign up sheet if you are able to help. If possible, please send in the items by Friday morning. The drinks are to make "dump punch" as referenced in the book. Here is the link to the recipe if you would like to take a look.
